This page summarises how subscriptions work in the Pet Safety: Plant Checker app.

Plans
Subscription — billed weekly or yearly. It removes the per-scan credit limit so you can scan as much as you need (subject to a fair-use ceiling to prevent abuse). Every app feature — all pet types, breed-specific notes, the full exposure breakdown (ingestion / contact / inhalation), the symptom timeline, your saved-plant library, the map, and your complete scan history — is free for everyone; the subscription's only benefit is unlimited scanning volume.
Free — you can use the app without subscribing: you get a small number of starter scans and can buy one-time credit packs whenever you need more.
Credit packs — one-time consumable purchases (3, 10, or 25 credits) that never expire, for when you want more scans without subscribing. A subscription already includes unlimited scanning, so subscribers don't need credit packs.
Free trial
The subscription includes a free trial when offered (typically 3 days). The exact duration is shown on the paywall before you confirm purchase and is controlled by the store (Apple App Store / Google Play). The trial begins at purchase confirmation. You can cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged.
Auto-renewal
Payment will be charged to your store account (Apple ID on iOS, Google account on Android) at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
The renewal price is the same as the original price unless we notify you in advance of a change.
Managing and cancelling
You can manage and cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, in your store account settings:
iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → tap Pet Safety: Plant Checker → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → tap Pet Safety: Plant Checker → Cancel subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by the store's refund policy or applicable consumer-protection law. Refund requests are handled by the store of purchase:
If you reinstall the app or set it up on a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall to recover an active subscription tied to the same store account (Apple ID or Google account) you originally purchased with. (The app has no login of its own — purchases are linked to your store account, not to an account with us.)
